Horror Target audience

Our genre is horror and we have decided our target audience should be teenagers. We feel this will be suitable because as teenagers ourselves we know they are young, daring and they're always going to want to watch something that will have them on the edge of their seats. In addition to this, they are the target audience because they may sometimes have low expectations thinking they won't be frightened by a movie so its good to catch them off guard. Finally, they can very much relate to the movie because a lot of the time the victim will be a teenager or teenage characters will be used in the film.
